Notes on Digital Sovereignty
Earlier this year, I started formulating a taxonomy or conceptual framework for state level approaches to digital sovereignty. The idea was that different approaches had significantly different political characters and by having a clear taxonomy we would be able to understand the political character of various proposals being made in various different countries around the world.
This then formed the basis of a couple of talks and a hope that I would find time over the summer to write it up into approved academic format so that it could be submitted to an academic journal. Sadly, the academic summer is longer in prospect than retrospect, and this never happened.
Since the manuscript has already been cited by someone else, I thought it a good idea to give it a permanent online home.
